Workshop on Gender Equality and Sexual Education for Adolescents

A special training programme was organised at the office premises on 28 February 2025 for adolescents, with teenagers participating from various nearby communities. The programme began with a warm welcome by Asian Bridge India and Dakhal, with Mr. Ramprakash Sahil as the chief guest, who was honoured with a bouquet of flowers.

During the session, literary scholar Mr. Sahil provided deep insights into gender equality and education. He explained how gender discrimination harms society and stressed the importance of treating all individuals equally, urging everyone to work towards eliminating gender-based disparities.

He then educated the adolescents on sexual health and awareness, distributing pamphlets on sexual education and addressing every query with clarity and sensitivity. A projector presentation offered visual insights into sexual health and safety.

Towards the end, all participants took an oath to advocate for gender equality and spread awareness about the importance of education. The programme concluded with light refreshments, after which the adolescents returned home with valuable knowledge and a renewed sense of responsibility.

This initiative was a significant step toward fostering awareness and understanding among teenagers, empowering them to build a more inclusive and informed society.
