As part of the skill development programs, ASMITA provides tailoring classes for the less privileged girls from the slums. We aim to help them in developing their skills so that they can take care of the basic stitching needs of the family and those willing could earn something for the family by taking up embroidery works in the neighborhood. We have 4 tailoring centers spread out in the city, each center educating 25-30 girls. A total of 123 girls are enrolled this year for tailoring.
