Specific Objectives
Empowerment of the vulnerable children in the slums and villages through non-formal education, life coping skills and personality development.
Provide temporary shelter, vocational skills, and counseling to migrant and job seeking women, unwed mothers, victims of trafficking both women and children.
Provide counseling, legal aid and rehabilitation services to the convicts specially women and children in prison, shelter home, juvenile home, remand home and child line units.
Function as a crisis intervention center for women and children, and provide day care center/crèche facilities to support the working women of the unorganized sector
Create awareness on health and hygiene in the rural area and in slums through community health program and sensitize the rural women on social issues through street plays and puppetry.
Mainstreaming of the physically challenged, especially children through inclusive education, community organization.
Raise the status of women by promoting gender, equity and empower them to be self-reliant through higher education, carrier guidance and income generating activities.
Function as a human resource unit for consultation, trainings, project formulation, documentation, research and provide quality service to the poor by preparing personnel with knowledge, skills, leadership and administrative abilities.
