DESCRIPTION:ASMITA and JMV Foundation Distribute Blankets to Elderly Widows in Varanasi’s Urban Slums \nVaranasi\, December 26\, 2023 — ASMITA\, an organization dedicated to supporting marginalized communities\, partnered with the JMV Foundation to bring warmth to those in need as winter sets in. Recognizing the hardships faced by vulnerable groups living in slums and on the streets\, ASMITA prioritized elderly widows this year\, distributing blankets to alleviate the challenges of winter. \nIn a community outreach event\, 51 elderly widows from eight urban slums in Varanasi received blankets\, which were sponsored by Izhar International Regs\, Bhadohi\, Varanasi. This annual initiative reflects ASMITA’s commitment to caring for underprivileged communities\, especially during harsh weather conditions. Through this distribution\, ASMITA and its partners continue their mission to provide essential support to the city’s most vulnerable residents.
