ASMITA Celebrates Mother’s Day in Parmanandpur Village, Focusing on Health and Empowerment

Parmanandpur, Shivpur, May 12, 2024 — In a unique shift from previous years, ASMITA celebrated Mother’s Day this year in the village of Parmanandpur, Shivpur, bringing together over 300 women from local communities. The event, rich in cultural tradition, featured performances of folk songs and local cultural presentations, creating an atmosphere of celebration and unity.

Guests of honor, Mooza Azmi and Hema, addressed the gathering with insights on women’s empowerment and the importance of health maintenance. Prerana Kala Manch captivated the audience with a street play focused on promoting good health practices, adding an interactive element to the event’s theme.
