ASMITA Provides Bicycles to Help Slum Children Overcome Barriers to Education

Varanasi, December 19, 2023 — Driven by the belief that every child deserves access to education, ASMITA has identified children from Varanasi’s slums who face difficulties attending school due to distance and lack of resources. To bridge this gap, ASMITA distributed bicycles to five children, offering them a means to continue their studies.

In the communities where ASMITA operates, many children are unable to pursue their educational goals due to the unavailability of reliable transportation. By providing bicycles, ASMITA is actively working to prevent school dropouts and support these children in their academic pursuits.
