ASMITA Launches Two-Month Campaign for Gender Equality with Inter-School Speech Competition**

Varanasi, December 5, 2023 — ASMITA has successfully concluded a two-month campaign aimed at promoting gender equality and reducing violence against girls. As part of this initiative, an inter-school speech competition on gender equality was organized, engaging students from 21 schools across the city.

During October and November, the first round of the competition was held, where students delivered powerful speeches advocating for women’s rights and gender equality. The top three participants from each school were selected to advance to the final round, which took place on December 5 at the ASMITA campus.

The final competition featured over 45 enthusiastic participants who showcased their eloquence and passion for the cause. The event not only highlighted the importance of gender equality but also sparked meaningful discussions and arguments in favor of women’s rights. ASMITA is proud of the impact this campaign has made in fostering awareness and advocacy among the youth in the community.
