ASMITA Celebrates Children’s Day with Performances and Awareness Themes at Campus Event
Varanasi, November 14, 2023 — ASMITA celebrated Children’s Day with an engaging event at its campus, bringing together 250 children from various centers across the slums of Varanasi. The children enthusiastically participated in performances that highlighted essential themes, including the importance of education, the risks of mobile addiction, and children’s rights. The day was filled with both entertainment and educational messages, making it a highly anticipated celebration for the young attendees.
Distinguished guests included Smt. Nirmala Patel, Member of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR); Sneha Upadhyaya, Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC); M.M. Verma, Director of Gandhi Adhyanpeeth; and S.I. Sandeep from the Nagar Nigam Chowki, who joined in the festivities and encouraged the children in their awareness efforts.
