Celebration of Mother’s Day

ASMITA celebrated International Mother’s Day (8^th May) in the slums of Varanasi for 7 days. As against the normal custom celebration for just one day, we decide to celebrate it in each of the slums where ASMITA works. The women, children, and men were gathered in their own slums and celebrated the day with them. Health coordinator Ritu Singh, Fr. Maju mathew the Director, and other staff joined the program.
